Meetings are professional training to provide you with the tools of your trade just the same as a bricks and mortar business.
Meetings announce new additions to your business or program such as an additional way to earn with your program or help with advertising.
Meetings advise of new policies and procedures. In one business introducing six new referrals used to mean automatic placement in a matrix where cash is earned when filled. This changed to being placed in another matrix, one additional step, but one that fills faster than the first one, earns income while it builds, then feeds into the original ultimately earning in both matrices, meaning more profit, but you would never understand that if you didn’t attend the meeting.
Meetings tell you when online payment processors change their policies, affecting your ability to pay, be paid or lose your money altogether. One payment processor this past year lost its bank account thereby disabling it to process credit cards. In previous years others have come and gone, often with any money you have in accounts with them. Program administrators often have inside information of impending disaster that you would get at the meeting and possibly be able to protect yourself.
Meetings inform you of bonuses, incentives and competitions for referrals or sales. In my primary program, F5M Millionaires Club, we have had contests that gave prizes like business cards, silver coin and gold coin. We all know that the value of gold is currently at a record high. This week the bonus for attending the meeting was 10,000 hits to our referral site at a high response advertising source. Lead Generating Tools had an LGT Traffic surf party this weekend rewarding us with extra banner and text ad impressions for surfing.
The important thing about these nuggets is you then have to use them. Showing up just to get the bonus and then doing nothing with the tool or the training is unwise at best and just plain dumb at worst, not to mention the extra work you make for the support team when you e-mail questions covered in the meetings. You may find yourself being ignored just as you ignore the efforts they make to assist and teach you.
It is your responsibility as an Internet marketer to get to know your business, educating yourself about all facets of working this business, and doing your part to make use of all the training and tools provided. Any business requires you to show up and run it. Contrary to all the hype you read on the Internet, no business runs itself. There is no free ride, but I can show you where you can learn to do it right with lots of help. At Lead Generating Tools, our policy is learn or get burned.
Until next time, remember meetings and training mean the difference between your failure and success.

In Internet Marketing, traditionally summer is the slowest period for advertising. Labour Day weekend is the last long weekend of the summer in North America. On Tuesday the students go back to school, the new season begins for your favourite television programs, and thus begins the most responsive advertising period for Internet Marketers. Will you be a couch potato or will you get back to advertising your online business?
I have taken the time during the "summer slump" to learn new things and sharpen my marketing skills so that I am prepared for this responsive season. We have kept up with our training in the LGT Training room throughout the summer. Our new jazzed up, interactive, marketing dashboard, with all it's viral traffic enhancers launched this spring and we have been very busy learning how to capitalize on all the wonderful tools at our disposal to explode our traffic building a network of like-minded marketers to support, encourage and promote each other. The new script really is your one-stop source for all your Affiliate Marketing Tools, Services, Money Making Resources, with Live Training Workshops all in one place.
In my last post, I wrote about our training on Word Press blogs. As a follow up to that our next training will be on Article Marketing to tie into blogging, honing our writing skills to make our blogs search engine friendly, enjoyable to read, provide quality information, creating interest in our personal unique brand to drive traffic to our online business and affiliate programs.
Whatever business brought each of us to Lead Generating Tools, for me it is F5M Millionaires Club and it's one-of-a-kind Wealth System, LGT has become an integral part of my marketing arsenal. Here there is ongoing training. As an Internet Marketer, I gather fresh, real time leads to market my programs bolstered by all the resources at my disposal as a member of LGT. I promote the lead capture pages I create using image and html editors to personalize, optimize and brand myself from my very own domain. I give away free marketing tools, services, and e-books like my free Millionaires Report, in exchange for a name and an e-mail address, known as a fresh real-time lead. Waaay better than the duds you often get by purchasing leads.
My autoresponders are easy to set up so I have one for each campaign, with it's own messages, lead capture page, tracking links and free resources so that I can monitor where my most effective advertising response comes from, which pages, images and slogans are working best, ultimately leading to my primary program. The best part about having autoresponders is that I can share with those joining me in F5M Millionaires Club the same free tools and resources from LGT that I use to optimize my advertising, thus giving them an edge in the marketplace.
Traffic is paramount, whether you are selling your own products or an affiliate marketer. You need to make your advertising stand out from the rest. Having fresh leads is crucial to any business. You need a continuous stream of potential customers. If you are marketing affiliate pages which look the same as everyone else's, make sure you have a regular, steady advertising schedule, particularly if you are using free advertising as your competition will be stiff! If you are using paid ad sites, make sure you test, and spend wisely by tracking response to your campaigns. If you are not getting results, go somewhere else. Just keep advertising, and never quit. The only way you can fail is if you quit.
Until next time, don’t sit back and let this momentum pass you by. Get back in the saddle and get in the race.

For a couple days now I've been mulling over thoughts which have now manifested as this post. Having just received an e-mail asking me if I'm a Sheeple, my immediate thought was "anything but"! Counting my blessings as I do routinely, I found them to be a varied myriad! Now back to this e-mail, of course, selling a service, it was coaxing the reader to make an independent choice instead of just following the "Gurus" and doing what they tell you to do.
In my tally of my blessings I was remembering all the people I have been associated with since embarking on my Internet marketing career 12 years ago. They too, are varied but not as many as my blessings. My first sponsor in an online "opportunity" was as much a newbie as myself and had either of us known that at the time, we would not have spent 3 hours on an initial phone call nor would we have lost our shirts over a period of 3 years.
I then decided that I would take to the streets. Literally!! So I began a fax advertising business, took time off from my day job in the afternoons to visit local food establishments on foot in my local downtown area selling ads on my daily "What's for lunch" fax to corporations in the towers surrounding them. Youth, with all it's impatience and lack of experience saw that endeavour end too quickly.
Back to the Internet. In my years living in Spain I believed I had finally manifested the idyllic life in which to pursue my dream of being able to work when I want, where I want, with a business operating on autopilot in the background of my life, only needing me to pop in on my laptop every now and then. Note: I did say "pursue". I was not there yet.
Several alliances, online conferences and mlm programs, later, it became apparent that no two marketers are the same just as no two people are the same. Each situation had elements which just didn't appeal or sit right with me. I made many "friends" and spent hours in those conference rooms, mostly out of loyalty, but not really making any progress back then, or so I thought.
Those "friends" usually fall by the wayside as soon as you become an individual, thinking for yourself, and hesitating to follow them into the next matrix. One said "so and so is a friend of mine, but he and so and so are just out for number one, so I think I'll sit this one out". Another said, "I really want to help people but if they're not gonna do what I tell them, then I'm not gonna bother with them". The third one said "I've helped so and so learn this and that and now they're out there trying to create a business like mine, I'm not helping them anymore". Well as my friend, an engineer told me last year, that's just business. His wife has three bars. Her best manager just quit to open a bar next door and try to take customers with her. She was understandably upset, but her husband related that when he had his own business with multiple crews, "You'd just get one trained properly and they would quit to start up their own business. That's just business". Well, thank God I can think for myself and have learned to trust my thought process as I ponder each move in the huge learning curve that is my life.
I found that I do need to connect and bond with my associates because I am a people person and an empath, so I care. However, I have learned that I do need to discern when someone truly needs my ear as opposed to one who is an energy and time drain, waffling on for attention. I can now walk away, usually at an opportune moment, leaving the relationship intact and conserving my energy. MLM works! It's not a bad word, but it is necessary to pick a good program, market it properly, continuously, manage your time and energy wisely.
The "Gurus" and online "friends" along the way, mostly by process of elimination, have led me to find what works for me and as such I have come to a place where I pick and choose what to endorse. Each program, course, and opportunity has taught me something valuable which ads to the sum total of who I am this moment. In the next moment I will be more. I am grateful for each lesson as I celebrate each growth spurt.
I cannot be bottled and sold. I cannot be owned. I belong to the universe. I am in the universe and the universe is in me. It is fluid and there is no containing the energy that forms worlds. I AM VivBounty, a brand associated with inspiration, growth, quality, hard work, integrity and love proceeding toward abundance in all it's forms.

I have just spent sixteen days with my closest family members; my mum, both my sisters and one of their granddaughters, aged twenty seven months. I say sixteen days and not two weeks for the longer I live I realize how precious time with family is. We haven't done this for six years in my home. For my hubby, it's more like 4 decades and it was certainly easier in his 20s. We have become wives, aunts, mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers and variations of all those roles through time and across 3 continents since he was a young lodger in our home back
Memories and special moments emerged as we talked, sang, danced, cooked, ate, drank, sewed curtains, got Mum acquainted with her Mother's Day gift from us, a new laptop and bonded as only a loving family can.
Our littlest addition, my great-niece, was full of boundless joy and curiosity. Seeing the world through her eyes and watching her interact with our 85-lb dog, Pedro was profoundly fascinating. They communicated almost telepathically as they stood eye-to-eye, most of the time with her arm around his neck. They shared toys, walks along the river bank and if we hadn't kept an eye on them, would have shared their food, too! When we were excited about our plans for the day or the evening, Pedro and the baby were excited too. When the baby cried, Pedro was sad and concerned. Energy is a powerful force and none more sensitive to it than babies and animals. We could learn a thing or two from watching them.
Much as we may get on her nerves with our boisterous laughter when we are together, compounded with partial hearing loss and magnified by her hearing aid, Mum loves nothing more than to have all her girls together under one roof where she spoils us as only a mother can. Likewise we sisters blossom when we are together. Projects that each of us have not managed to complete for the past year or two were finished with teamwork and the inspiration of being together. This family holiday time whether annually or whenever we can gather, is when I top up my energy supply. It's the wind beneath my wings which keeps me going and allows me to be who I am come what may.
The highlight of our time together was watching a video of our eldest sister singing, at her friends' golden wedding anniversary party. As we watched there wasn't a dry eye in the house over our very own miracle who following a brain injury sixteen years ago was not expected to live through the night. Today she loves to sing and lights up a room just by walking in. Everyone who meets her is immeasurably moved and inspired and I personally feel it is because, as the song from the movie E.T. goes, she "turns on her heart light and let's it shine wherever she goes. Let's it make a happy glow for all the world to see".
I have added a clip here for you to see for yourself. Enjoy!
P.S. I wish to thank my hubby with all my heart for the long hours and hard work he put in converting and editing this video to this format making it possible to upload it to YouTube!

As you see from my bio, I have been marketing online for over a decade. In that time I have seen many offers, techniques and scams to get a product in front of a pair of eyes. There just is no getting around the fact that the best way to build an Internet business is from the ground up, the correct way, building a contact list by offering good advice, giving away good resources, forming relationships by helping others along the way and sharing what you learn . Eventually, you will become known for that which you put out. In other words you will build a reputation based on integrity, association with honest, decent people, providing helpful products and information and yes, guiding others who have come to trust and rely on you to say what you mean and mean what you say.
At LGT, I continue to learn new things, hone my skills, and grow, grow, grow. New Internet Marketing styles and programs appear continuously. What works today may not work next month, what worked last Fall may not work this Spring and so on. However, the things that never change are truth, honesty, integrity, and a general good work ethic.
I have made wonderful friends over the years online, some who have helped me along the way, and some who have fallen away to other pursuits as programs come and go, but I remain assured in the fact that the Universe will bring me the right people at the right time in any given situation. For example, a friend sent me a meditation recently which opens the heart, centers, grounds and connects me to my Source, which can be used throughout the day but I use it morning and night as a wonderful way to encapsulate my working day bathed in confidence and secure on my path to success with Divine Guidance.
Another friend gave me a link to a Joint Venture (JV) giving away Free Internet Marketing products which has brought me numerous subscribers to my auto-responders. We all know the money is in the list, right? This is my first JV and it ttook some work on my part like creating a PDF (Portable Document File) to use as a free gift, making sure my messages are not blocked by the SPAM filters on many e-mail clients (ensuring my prospects do indeed receive their free gift), creating a specific splash page for the JV so that all components from the icon seen on the JV main offer page, through the messages and on to the PDF flow together and have value and quality.
Finally back to the learning part, last week in the LGT training room we had open workshop to which we could bring all our unfinished web pages, digital products, web site issues etc. to get help with and sort out. The week before that, we were taught how to find an affiliate program in a niche we like and how to effectively market that program for effectual immediate profit. I have completed another e-book for sale or as a free download, created a membership site with master resale rights, and added several tools to my marketing arsenal.
All this for free with live trainers who never quit until you are up and running! Best of all, I can use this training and new-found understanding to market my F5M-Millionaires Club from my base of operations, Lead Generating Tools, where we have EVERYTHING an affiliate marketer needs!
Until next time, happy marketing and remember whatever your program or business, we can help you with our abundant IM resources.

I've just seen the film "Pursuit of Happyness" starring Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith inspired by a true story about a man named Christopher Gardner. Click on the image to the left to get the film which really is about the triumph of the human spirit.
I just have to share with you some of the most poignant moments for me. I mean, talk about disappointment, being knocked down, having the rug pulled out from under you; Will's character, Chris Gardner goes through all of that and then some!
Like many of us, Chris has tried conventional business having invested heavily in a device known as a "Bone Density scanner" which is supposed sell like hotcakes, is only a 1% improvement over the previous invention, and overpriced at ten times the cost of an X-ray machine. It is cumbersome, about the size of an old Singer sewing machine in a hard case with a handle on top which has to be lugged around for demonstration on sales calls to doctors in hospitals, where there is never any parking.
Things start to go wrong in a domino effect for Chris, one after another. His car is towed. His wife walks out on him, he insists on keeping his five-year-old son, Christopher. He is arrested for unpaid traffic tickets. Then when he has no more machines to sell to raise cash, the "taxman" empties his bank account leaving them homeless. All the while, he must appear for work daily in a suit and tie, as an unpaid intern in the competitive world of stocks ready to charm some of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the San Francisco Bay Area. These people take wealth so much for granted that two of them stiff him for cab fare.
He never complained. He fixed the one broken machine he recovered from a homeless man who had stolen it from him, sold his blood for cash to feed his son and did in six hours what his competitors at work did in nine. He studied and watched how the successful ones did it, emulating their good traits while being true to his own values all the time keeping his eye on the goal for six months never knowing if he would be the only intern out of twenty who will be hired for a salary.
Will Smith's performance as the father trying to protect his son from their circumstances of becoming homeless earned him a well-deserved OSCAR nomination. At his lowest point, we watch him create an imaginary game with his young son making an adventure of having to spend a night in the subway washroom. Once safely "away from the dinosaurs" locked in "the cave", he cries silently while his son sleeps on his lap. Each night they run for buses, line up outside the shelter to get a bed, he bathes his son and washes his clothes at the sink, and tenderly tucks him in. After "lights out" using stairway lighting he repairs the last broken machine to sell, and by the street lamp shining through the window he studies for his eventual internship examination while his son sleeps.
The moment when he tells his son, with tears in his eyes "Hey. Don't ever let somebody tell you... You can't do something. Not even me. All right? You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period!" is what inspired me to write this post. This man not only never gave up, he got the one and only paying position out of that group of twenty interns and when the boss asked him if it was as easy as it looked, through eyes at full-brim, he simply said "No Sir, it wasn't!"
Chris Gardner didn't ramble on about his struggles, he never let on to anyone his true circumstances, he just did whatever was necessary to clear each hurdle, went on to form his own successful stock brokerage and eventually sold a minority share of it for millions of dollars.
So do you have food and shelter? Do you have your health? Do you have a computer? Do you have access to the Internet? So what's stopping you from achieving your dreams?
Just come and see the best pay plan on the Internet which can make you wealthy. Not overnight, not without any action on your part, but with consistent effort, the degree of which will determine your success. The system will be here when you're ready as it has been for almost 16 years, but the sooner you start, the better your retirement will be.
Rest assured it can be done. It is being done. Right Now. Right Here.

The wonderful thing for me each year is that I gain so much more than I ever give up. The insight and clarity from my prayer and meditation time leads to wonderful avenues of growth and discovery. Unexpected "little lights of dawning" as my cousin once called them, have given me life-changing direction with each passing year. Questions and prayers have been answered, unnecessary tasks, lists, and goals have fallen away as I am reminded once again of my innate Divine Guidance. In short, I let go and let God and then witness in awe as doors open, ideas come, kindness is returned a thousand fold and desires materialize.
In the past, seemingly out of nowhere manifestations of funds for great travel adventures, ideas for decor transforming a house into my perfect sanctuary, the willpower to quit smoking (it's been 20 years now), and most importantly this year, my friend Tracy's miraculous healing against all odds, have resulted from this sacred time of connecting with my Source and releasing the need to control, think, plan, or do. It is immensely freeing to give up the struggle.
This year I am using a guide my cousin found online in her search for guidance on her spiritual journey along with chapters of a free inspirational course for success a friend forwards to me daily. Following the direction from each reading and reflecting upon the relevance in my life each new day brings great gifts. Thank you ladies for your contribution to my spiritual practice.
In my Internet business, as with any business, there are costs, marketing challenges, the daily struggle of time management, motivation, and balancing of work and family life.
While in a voIP conversation with a friend who has kindly assisted me over so many marketing hurdles, another of our associates telephoned him with a technical problem. It so happened that my hubby could assist with the problem, resulting in a trade for services. While the three of us were online my first friend discovered some design/software compatibility issues with the trade we had made not too long ago.
This one conversation became a three-way in which all our problems were solved. I have now e-mailed the corrected design to my first buddy, his long-time friend who is now my friend and online business associate has his technical issue solved, and I have marketing assistance and bonuses, which have saved me tons of time and money. Thank you gentlemen for your kind cooperation and assistance. This to me is how the world was intended to function; all of us here together helping each other to succeed.

This is where the rubber meets the road. There comes a time in life when you realize it's all up to you. You can stop working and wait for everything to be perfect or for technology to work flawlessly, complaining and fretting while you are waiting or you can continue forward towards your goal with what is working when you sit down at your computer.
Whether you are an entrepreneur or an employee, it is easy to be agreeable and understanding when things are going well but what is your attitude when the challenges come? Does it need an adjustment or are you able to go with the flow and know you will overcome? Do you sit there on your hands waiting for the 'boss' or 'techs' to fix things or do you do what you can, while you can to move forward?
I need to once again take my hat off to the wonderful folks at Lead Generating Tools (LGT) for their unending support and dedication to their members and the services upon which we rely to run our businesses. To facilitate our move to a bigger, better, super-fast, brand spanking new server, were provided with e-mail instructions, video tutorials, and in many cases, personal intervention with our individual Internet service providers (ISPs) by head trainer Crystal Spring to make sure our tools and web sites were functioning. I don't think LGT owner, Steve Swetman slept for most of the past couple of weeks!
In the LGT training room no one is left behind. For newbies or members who have had to leave the lesson before it's end, the trainers made provisions to go into another room to catch up. For those more skilled and continuously present members, the lesson continued as the various web site components propagated throughout the world. As this process could take from hours to days, depending on where you live and your ISP, our one-week session was extended into a second week.
We worked as and when we could, learned new skills, and cleared hurdles. I managed to build my sites, create an auto responder, plan my work and work my plan. I'm happy to report that I have finally put together a campaign the likes of which I only imagined experts to be capable of thus far in my Internet career. It all starts with the form on my lead capture page, which, when filled out, takes those interested in a secure, prosperous future through a permission-based series of SPAM-free e-mail messages.
Now that all our sites and tools are functioning fully again, next week we begin be creating a newsletter.
Until next time, this is VivBounty saying when the going gets tough, the tough keep going.

This is simply a re-printed article I share here with you, courtesy of John Kielec, founder and president of the F5M Millionaires Club, who received it from our esteemed club member, Jim Spurrill. Thank you so much Mr. Kiyosaki, John and Jim for this great information reinforcing why we are all working so hard to build our Network Marketing Business.
Message From Mr. John Kielec:
Dear Fortune5Minutes and F5M-Millionaires Club members,
I have received very interesting article from F5M-MC member Jim Spurrill and would like to share this information with all F5M-MC members.
Why Network Marketing Will Continue to Grow - Robert Kiyosaki
For network marketers, the future looks very bright indeed, because there are economic trends already in process that will drive more and more people to participate in this business in the years ahead.
People Want More Freedom
Gone are the days when a person takes a job at age 25 and stays there for life, doing as he's told to keep that job secure. Today, people want to be more mobile and have more choices. They want the freedom to live their lives on their own terms. A part-time network marketing business offers people more control over their lives; ultimately, it provides more freedom. It provides a low-cost-of-entry, ready-made system for those anxious to make a change.
People Want to Be Rich
During my parents' generation, the rules said, "If you work hard, the older you get, the more you'll be paid, earning ever more money (within tightly proscribed limits) through incremental pay raises." As you approached the end of your life, however, those rules reversed: when you retired you expected your income to go down. In other words, the assumption for my parents and their contemporaries was that one would work hard all one's life--and retire poor.
The Future Looks Bright
No more. Today we have 25-year-olds who've never held down a job in their lives, yet have become billionaires by building a software company. At the same time, we have 50-year-olds looking for jobs, hoping to get back to a place where they can earn $50,000 a year. What's worse, these same 50-year-olds have little or nothing to set aside for retirement; indeed, they may never be able to retire. These 50-year-olds don't need jobs; they need the opportunity to get rich enough to provide a sustainable level of income for the rest of their lives. That opportunity is exactly what network marketing provides. Network marketing companies offer this possibility by providing the necessary education, mentoring and business systems to assist these 50-year-olds build their own B quadrant [business-owner] businesses. By the year 2010 (not that far away!) the first of 75 million Baby Boomers in America will reach the age of 65. Many will come to network marketing as a means of building that lifetime of security which their jobs did not provide. Indeed, beyond meeting the basic needs of minimum-level financial security, a person who successfully builds a network marketing business may potentially join the ranks of the world's ultra-rich, becoming far more wealthy than highly-educated and hard-working professional people, such as doctors, lawyers and engineers. They may even become wealthier than many sports stars, movie stars and rock stars. If you are already an established network marketer, what does this mean for you? This is the best news of all: as the year 2010 approaches, many people who are already network marketers will do exceptionally well as millions of Baby Boomers come their way.
Individual Retirement Portfolios Will Be Wiped Out
Never in the history of the world have so many people bet their retirement years on the stock market. This is a recipe for financial disaster. During my parents' generation, retirees counted on the companies they worked for and the federal government to provide the income stream to support their retirement years. They didn't have to worry about managing their retirement portfolio: the companies they worked for did that for them. Today, more often than not, when you retire you're on your own. Millions of Americans have 401k's or similar retirement accounts--and that's all they have. If your 401k runs out of money when you reach, say, age 78, you won't be able to go back to your former employee and ask for help. There'll be nowhere to turn.
The Future Looks Bright
There's also a strong possibility that the US stock market will collapse by the year 2010--if not sooner. If this happens, many 401k retirement plans will collapse along with it, which will mean that millions of people will never be able to retire--or at best, they won't have the pleasant retirements of which they had so fondly dreamed. Suddenly a person with $2 million in mutual funds in his retirement account may find that portfolio cut in half. On top of that, he may be stuck with a capital gains tax that could bankrupt the remaining value of the retirement portfolio. That's the risk of betting your retirement years on paper. The number of people who have bet their lives on the stock market is at an all-time high: if there is a crash, millions of people will be seeking other sources for financial security--such as building the kind of B quadrant business that network marketing can provide.
The Rules Have Changed
In 1989, when the Berlin Wall came down and the World Wide Web went up, the rules of the world changed forever. According to many economic historians, that's when the Industrial Age ended, and the Information Age began. In the Industrial Age, the rules were that if you worked hard, your company and the government would take care of you. In the Information Age, the rules are different: the new rules say, you had better be planning to take care of yourself. How? Starting now, by investing in your own network marketing business.
Well, F5M-Millionaires Club certainly has a great potential for huge growth into the future.
No one else is going to build your bounty for you. You can get all the free tools you need here to get you started from Lead Generating Tools where even as a free member you can earn income.
This is the place to start, folks. You can be in business on the World Wide Web for as little as $5 BUCKS one time for life!! I'm certainly here to help you get started so please leave me a comment if you have any questions at all.
I hope this really timely information makes up for the lag between posts, all. In my defense, I had computer issues this week and managed to lose most of my back up files. Thank God for the wonderful team of professionals at LGT and who managed to retrieve most of what I had lost.

Things I love to do which feed my soul include writing or sharing experiences which might inspire others, hence posting in my blog fits right into my Sunday tradition of just being with myself and my family. Speaking of sharing, let me tell you about our training in the LGT conference room this past week.
We had a really great week in class learning and sharing ideas about time management. At the end of our session members were given a free e-book on the subject complete with rights to sell or give away as we choose. Now I ask you, are the wonderful trainers and owner of Lead Generating Tools generous or what? Let me just answer that for you. Nowhere online will you find a company that consistently over delivers like this one. That is why it's my base of operation from which I build and promote my home business.
So in a nutshell, yes I'm trying to keep this post short enough so that I don't lose you to time constraints or boredom, whichever comes first, here's what I learned from my trainers and classmates alike.
One must be organized. It's important to have a tidy desktop, in our case that means on our computers, but it could mean a real desk too because we have not become a paperless society yet. We learned digital filing to keep things in an orderly fashion and know where to find files and applications when we need them. This includes folders made to contain various things like a list of links to use in our advertising, software used to create our Adsense sites, ad copy, folders containing websites we're building, other works in progress, and especially free downloads for the myriad of tools and products given to us monthly by LGT depending on your membership level including Free Tools members.
Next we have those lists. Those of us who use lists, and in today's fast-paced world, there aren't many who don't, know that even the lists must be organized. If not they become never ending and just add to your stress instead of reducing it, hence the emergence of the daily planner. Again this can be in paper form or digital. We learned how to create one using HTML, Excel, Word, or Open office, depending on what each had access to on their PC. For the very busiest of people who need to literally make time for each and every small task in their day-to-day routine, it was important include non-business tasks on the list. These could include an hour meditation or quiet time, thirty minutes to walk the dog, time for laundry, cooking a meal, making medical appointments, playing a game of scrabble with an elderly neighbour, and play or study time with a child. We can easily get so absorbed in building our business that we lose our balance and that is when our family and our health begin to break down.
For me it's a matter avoiding being extremely regimented. I like order and have a loose routine, but micro dissecting every moment of my day would increase my stress. This is after all the reason for choosing to work from home as opposed to in an office for a corporation where one is told when to arrive, when to leave, how long to break for a meal, not to have personal calls, etc. Having said all that, running your own business requires a regimen of some sort to be successful. My daily planner now works around my home life and loved ones first, while making sure to complete one project for my home business each day. This is usually a combination of tasks from setting up an auto-responder, creating a form leading to it, up to designing a lead capture page to share the wealth system with others. After training, I'm tired but inspired and full of ideas. My mind and body then say "I'll not do this task well if I don't rest, eat, hug my loving husband, walk my beautiful dog or whatever first". So I stop and do what my spirit tells me before I take on the tasks at hand.
A very useful tip we got was to set your business goal. Decide how big you want your business to be, when you want to get there, then break your big goal down into smaller goals working backwards from years, to months, to weeks, to days, to hours so that you know what you need to accomplish each hour to achieve your goal. There's the old question, "How do you eat an elephant?" the answer is "One bite at a time."
Remember a planner is just that. It's a plan and a guide. Life happens while you're making other plans and you may not get to your list that day, so just move the task to the next day's list and carry on from there. Prioritize the list with things that are most beneficial to your business first like advertising and on down to filing, backing up, etc. and work down the list each day to see how it goes. Tweak it depending on results and workability until the rhythm feels right to you.
Until next time, hoping you find balance as you build your wildest dreams.

During the course of any given week in my home business, between almost daily meetings and training every day in the LGT conference room, I definitely need to manage my time better. My challenge is to move from being a training room groupie afraid to miss something to one who is confident and organized enough to take what I’ve learned and just do it! It’s all very well to grab all the wisdom and say you’ve learned but one must apply and one must do. Deepak Chopra said in his video, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success that one can spend his lifetime in a room with books studying, but if he never leaves that room to interact with another soul, he has learned nothing. I am on my way to a regular advertising campaign regimen to turbo charging my cash flow. That being said, my downlines are growing, Amen! More on this after time management training week...
The founder of my business system who has been making people wealthy for over 16 years paying daily in over 250 countries worldwide, struck a chord with me last meeting when he shared this. I won't try to quote him as I couldn't now, but what he said in essence is that he was approached, as he is regularly by Internet marketers, by one about joining the "newest program". So what he told this individual is that if he could prove to him that this program was better than the wealth system in every way, he would not only join him, but he would also give him ten thousand dollars. The man went away returning time and time again with different propositions all sounding great but no proof of income, longevity, support, etc. Well this went on for 5 or so years, and finally he asked the Internet marketer, “All the time and effort you’ve spent on trying to prove me wrong all these years, why don’t you just join me and make the ten grand?”
This brings me to the subject of program-hoppers or folks who join every new networking, or mlm, program that launches. Not only do they never have time to learn each one effectively, they spend a fortune and end up broker than if they had done nothing. As I’ve said before in previous posts, focus your efforts. Find a program you can believe in. Spend your money wisely. For example, if you’re going to pay for advertising, make sure you’ve researched the effectiveness and responsiveness of the media you plan to advertise with. If it’s not working after a decent effort, go somewhere else. Take the Advertising with Income Co op, for example. It's an option with the F5M Millionaires Club, not a monthly subscription plan, but pay as you go, earn commission on one downline level, plan. Advertising being a numbers game, one must give the ads time to saturate, so it is recommended that you remain in for at least 3 months to see some results. You get updates of real stats from Admin of how many hits your link has received that month. In my 3 months in the co-op I have received real paid signups, but I don’t rely solely on the co-op. This works in time but is not going to make you rich overnight. Diversity in advertising is key.
The traffic exchanges are also a popular and effective way of advertising for people working from home. In the case of the program hoppers, having too many URLs dilutes the effectiveness of your efforts. Credits are used up so quickly so that only the first few surfers see the ad then website is taken out of the viewing rotation and no matter how many people are surfing, the ad will not be seen again until more credits are assigned to it.
Our trainer this week on just this subject was Tom Bouchillon, who did a marvelous job of showing us how to effectively use the traffic exchanges. He took us into desktop sharing mode in the conference room and demonstrated live how to place your links in the traffic exchange, how to earn credits, then how to assign those credits so that others will see your ads while they are surfing. Credits can be earned in several ways. You earn them surfing, buy them or be rewarded for referring others in credit or cash where upgrade commission applies on downlines.
You can also gain more exposure by bidding on the Daily Sponsor site, one of the tools in Traffic Empire, for example. Once you have credits accumulated, you can use them to bid for the front-page spot for 24 hours. Some traffic exchanges have a free rotator, which means you can enter all your links into the rotator and advertise them all using just the one link in all places where rotators are allowed. This saves time when you have to remove or change the link for one of your programs. All you need to do is change it in the rotator instead of having to log in to each traffic exchange. Also worth mentioning is all the links, ads and banners advertised in LGT Fast Auto Traffic are placed all across the many LGT sites. In addition many of our members have our code on their sites so that takes ads on the LGT network further out across the whole World Wide Web.
The newbie class also feeds into the main class very well. Although it is very early, see schedule here for many in North America, TrudyVan, the trainer is based in South Africa and must feed into the other main training courses offered free at Lead Generating Tools where free tools members can now earn commission for Team LGT members they introduce. TrudyVan taught us that some traffic exchanges even allow you to personalize your splash pages. There are places where you can add a profile picture, other places let you add your business banner, and some allow you to create an entirely customized banner from scratch and use it to brand yourself while advertising their traffic generator. Each traffic exchange also has a downline builder. This is a list of optional programs you can join under your sponsor. If you already belong to any of the programs in the downline builder, you may add your username or I.D. in the field so that your referrals in that traffic exchange would be joining you instead of your sponsor. This builds your downlines in multiple programs in as many traffic exchanges as you join allowing you to create multiple income streams.
The tip which both trainers agreed upon and the one which was most eye opening to me was that it’s better to surf 20-50 pages in each exchange daily than surf 100 or more once a week. The rationale behind this is that if the 100 or more credits are used up before you surf next week, your site will not be seen again for the rest of the week whereas if you surf less sites daily, assign credits daily, your site will be seen daily. I personally like the idea of my site being seen everyday and I’m certainly wiser than I've been for twelve years marketing online never knowing this little tidbit.
Next week if all goes according to schedule, we’ll be learning time management. I’ll certainly need this lesson. It just won’t do to keep you all waiting 2 weeks for another update, eh!
Build your wildest dreams. Never Give Up. There is a Better Life Waiting For You!

We in the LGT Conference room this week have had an absolute blast. I am completely astounded at what I’ve learned in the space of 4 days. I have loved this blog from its inception because it has provided me with a forum for my inspirational writing; something I believe I was born to do. As a bonus this is a marketing tool to draw traffic to my business enabling me to earn my living online working from home
In my first blogging class back at the end of October 2008 we learned to create a blog and how to choose settings within the blogger dashboard which would optimise our search engine rankings, protect our privacy, control comments, add widgets which all come together to jazz up your blog with your unique style to eventually look just the way you want it to drawing the kind of people you want to do business with.
Well if that wasn’t enough to get us bloggers all excited about the possibilities as we embark upon branding ourselves, building our presence and driving traffic to our affiliate programs, little did we know that this next course in blogging was going to knock our socks off!
For those who have joined Lead Generating Tools since the last blogging class, our wonderful instructor, a.k.a. blogging queen, TrudyVan, began with the basics again. She guided students who hadn’t already done so to build their first blog. This was a great refresher for me as it became evident that in my excitement the first time around I had missed some of the settings, like allowing comments and how to control them. After all, someone once said the average person only remembers 25% of what they hear the first time. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Now in all fairness to me, since our last course in blogging, Google has added new widgets and settings, which were not available last fall.
In this new session, we have learned to add a Digg button to our blogs. Digg is a program, which can best be described as Social Bookmarking. Digg is a place for people to discover and share content across the web, from the biggest online destinations to the most obscure blog. Every article submitted to Digg has a count of how many Diggs the story has received. You need to be signed-in to Digg a story. For every registered user that clicks "Digg it" the count goes up one. If a story reaches the tipping point, then it gets promoted to the homepage.
The power of Digg is phenomenal as we experienced on just a small scale with the members in the classroom this week. After joining the Digg network and adding each other as friends, we added a Digg button to our entire blog and then we added a Digg button to a particular post within the blog. The first button raises the visibility of your blog, the second button is particularly useful when you are promoting affiliate programs, which you want to draw traffic to. As your friends and associates in your network Digg your blog and your posts, others in the Digg network see that your articles have been Dugg which hopefully makes them curious enough to read what you have to say and if they like it, they Digg it causing a viral effect of recommendation and visibility bringing you tons and tons of traffic to your product or opportunity.
I just know that you’ll be sorry if you don’t come and check out our training schedule at LGT. Be sure to tell them when you enter the room that VivBounty sent you.
Until next time, this is VivBounty inspiring you to build your own bounty your way!

I had so many plans over the holidays to get organized so that I would be ready to kick my advertising into overdrive. The state of the economy worldwide being what it is, this is the best time to build your online business and beat the credit crunch.
Well the Christmas and New Year’s Eve festivities came and they were lovely but I didn’t get nearly as much done as I’d hoped. My to-do list was a tad over the top and after all, the holidays are for spending more time enjoying with family and friends so I did just that.
Fortunately, I have taken my tutelage well in life and over my dozen-or-so years online and after many mistakes and a process of elimination, managed to put much of it into practice. I now know that if something on my to-do list does not get accomplished, it’s not the end of the world. I’m also quite proficient at multi-tasking, although, it is said there is no such thing as multitasking; you do one thing and then you do the next thing. We could argue this point until the cows come home, but I digress, so suffice it to say that I managed to complete a good many tasks maybe not simultaneously but over a relatively short period of time by arranging them effectively. Let me clarify; while I was watching lovely holiday movies with my husband, I had my laptop putting my log-ins for my various online programs into a file to be safely stored on CD/external hard drive, etc. Gone are the 3x5 index cards! While attending meetings in our conference rooms online after the holidays (remember that unfinished to-do list), at a lull in the presentation or whilst the trainer may have been helping someone over a hurdle I have already cleared, listening all the while, I opened other windows and organized my files into more appropriately named folders for easier and quicker access.
I have learned the hard way that you have to pick a business and focus on it. If you’re a program jumper and you’re scattered, you’ll never be able to focus enough on any one of those programs to make it successful. Having scattered energy makes for a cluttered environment, which in turn makes for a cluttered mind. Now that I have all my files and log-ins where I can find them, I can concentrate on consistent, ongoing, effective advertising and list-building so that when my prospects come into my auto-responder, I can show them, just like I learned how to build their bounty from the ground up the correct way.
Lead Generating Tools is my base of operations where I can earn money while building my own business, learning to brand myself, in a company, which doesn’t believe in making you spend unnecessary money. The live trainers teach, give of themselves, train, inspire, encourage and never leave anyone behind allowing each member to learn at their own pace from “newbie” to experienced marketer. You see not only is Lead Generating Tools an very lucrative affiliate program in and of itself, but it is also a growing Network consisting of many websites across which my business is advertised to thousands of prospects daily.
The first week’s training has been on e-commerce; yes I found all the files I had downloaded which I needed for class. Now that I’m focused, it’s easier to know where to look. We learned to put a product in our shopping cart and load it up on to our web site. Next week we are going to continue our blogging class, but there’s so much more it’s just easier to show you the training schedule here so you can see how much free training we have and how much LGT consistently over-delivers.
In addition to the digital exposure, our first “Boost Your Biz” conference for members of SocialBrats and their guests to come and “show their wares” so-to-speak was a roaring success! In this live conference setting you can post a link or two in the text and take the microphone to give a short 5-10 minute talk on your opportunity in a setting where the folks who are advertising and the guests or prospects can actually meet! Who’da thunk it, eh? In this online world where you don’t know where a link is taking you or whom you’re getting into business with, how cool is that?
Finally it’s important to do your due diligence before you join a program and make sure that guru you’re following can actually put their money where their mouth is and is not just a consistent program starter, here today, grabbing your membership fee and gone tomorrow. Go to a couple of meetings and get to know the admin of the business before you join. Make sure you know the program will still be around for years to come like Fortune5Minutes so that after you get active and bring tons of people in, you will be rich, not someone else. Ask questions and find out if this is a product or program you really want to get into and can believe in. In my business, F5M Millionaires Club, meetings we are given surprise bonuses like upgrades or paid advertising on the spur of the moment or paid memberships for your guests, and the like; bonuses which have real value and could go a long way to catapulting your business, so if you miss a meeting, you could really be short-changing yourself! If you have any questions, please feel free to leave me a comment.
Until next time, this is VivBounty encouraging you to manifest your bounty your way. Like someone in the LGT training room said, "Shine in 2009"!
